Show Notes Chapter Markers

Today’s guest is Tim Lulofs.

Born in Fresno California in 1951 Tim is Husband to Cheri (since 1973) , Father to two sons Matt & Will , English Scholar, Writer, Teacher , Musician , Song Writer , Singer , Fly Fisherman,  all round lovely bloke and as you will hear one heck of a storyteller.

He has amassed a wealth of stories in his 69 years only matched by the rich and varied musical journey he has undertaken through Elvis Presley, East Coast Psychedelia, Funk, Soul, Jazz and Americana and this is reflected in his song choices.

His choice for the 2010’s is a powerful song from his son Will who has released six critically acclaimed albums and I am delighted to say that Will is my next guest on Music Talks. The episode then finishes with Tim making a connection between a dubious and inappropriate 1960 novelty record and Bruce Springsteen’s State Trooper.

Tim is the first of my guests to play and sing during our discussion and the episode plays out with one of my favourites of Tim’s songs with The Professors “Shoe in the Road”

You are in for a treat, enjoy 😊
