Episode 38 - Gary Burt - The Long and Winding Road
Show Notes Chapter Markers

My guest in this episode of Music Talks is Gary Burt who I describe in my intro as “Innovative, creative, not short of opinion, and someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously”.

Born and bred in Blackpool he now lives in the Ribble Valley with his wife and two children. Gary has built a successful career in the I.T industry but, at the title of the episode suggests, the road to that career was an interesting one taking him from Fancy Goods, through Photography, being a Light Jockey and Bingo calling.

He makes a great set of song choices that interestingly all have a visual connection to them which was a theme that only became fully apparent when we were recording the episode, I will be sharing a number of those videos on the Music Talks Facebook page over the next two weeks.

We close the episode by talking about Gary’s love and passion for Judo, the coaching work he has done for many years and the inclusive and supportive Judo community he is proud to be part of.

This is a long and winding road that is worth walking :-)
