On Music Talks Christmas B-SIDES my choice for the 00’s was the easiest of all. This is the chapter I have received more positive feedback about than anything else since I launched.
My dear friend Larry Hauser talks powerfully and passionately about Ryan Adams, the song “New York, New York” and most importantly his personal feelings and memories around 9/11. If you only ever listen to one piece of Music Talks please make it this one its worth the 15 minutes I promise.
Towards the end of the clip we also get into an interesting discussion on how to handle your musical heroes exhibiting behaviour you do not approve of, it helped !
